March 5, 2018

The public is invited to join Parks & Conservation
Foundation volunteers to explore the Kishwaukee Valley
Conservation Area on Saturday, March 10th. This event
will take about 1.5 hours & starts at 10:00 AM.
Participants should enter the site at 9416 US Highway 20,
Garden Prairie – look for Kishwaukee Valley Conservation
Area sign along the north side of the highway. See how
the river shapes the landscape. You might get wet feet, so
wear knee high waterproof boots. Please dress for the
weather and be prepared to walk over rough unimproved
terrain. These hikes have been a local hit, so sign-up
as soon as you can!
Refreshments will be available.
