Request for Proposals (RFPs), Qualifications, Bids and Quotes

The Belvidere Park District publishes Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) and bid specifications for a variety of projects, programs and products. Bids, RFPs and RFQs are published in local newspapers in compliance with local, state and federal laws. A summary of current project descriptions is listed below. Details are available by contacting the department specified in the announcement. You may also contact the department by phone, mail or email to request to be included on a list of vendors surveyed for specific projects.

Independent Program Instructors

The Belvidere Park District is now accepting applications for a variety of recreational program ideas and classes that you or your business would like to offer in partnership with the Park District in 2018-2019. We are looking for instructors for Tai Chi, Dance Programs for Youth and Adult, Fitness Health and Wellness classes, Early Childhood, Youth Programs, Pet Classes and any other classes that fit our mission statement. Interested instructors can download our Program Proposal Sheets below.

Proposals for Summer Consideration must be returned by  February 1, 2019

Belvidere Independent Contractor Application

The Belvidere Park District is accepting sealed bids for the sale of surplus items/equipment. Bids must be submitted to the Belvidere Administration Office located at 1006 W. Lincoln Ave. Belvidere, IL 61008 no later than 10:00 A.M. on November 1st, 2018; at which time they will be opened and read aloud. Bid must indicate the proposed lump sum purchase price for the specified piece of equipment.  Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked as “SEALED BID/SURPLUS ITEMS NOVEMBER 2018”

Items will be on display for public inspection at the Maintenance Building located at 6573 Revlon Drive Belvidere, IL between 1 P.M. and 4 P.M. Monday thru Friday or by appointment. To schedule an appointment please contact Todd Bex, Superintendent of Parks at 815-547-5711 Ext. 12. All items are offered in “AS IS CONDITION,” the Belvidere Park District will make no warranties including, but not limited to performance or condition.  The purchaser will be required to pay in full, sign a Hold Harmless agreement and pick up the item/equipment within (15) days of the sale date.  The Belvidere Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities that may occur during the bidding process.
