In this workshop you will understand what it means to be financially healthy – which is so much more than the one score everyone asks you about today – your credit score. True financial health is based on four key components: Spend, Save, Borrow, and Plan. You’ll also get a chance to confidentially determine your own Financial Health Score and the steps you can take to improve that score. (BK)

This lifestyle workshop will focus on the concepts of the innate diet, natural hygiene, and the requirements for health. It will demonstrate why eating well is vital for health and wellness and how nutritional deficiency is directly related to chronic illness. Do you want concrete steps that allow you to create nutritional sufficiency which will move you towards a healthier and happier quality of life? Then this workshop is for you! Some other topics that will be presented include: 3 basic components to nutrition, innate diet vs. contemporary western diet, fatty acid profile and imbalance, probiotics, insulin resistance, stress physiology, food to avoid disease, how to eat for health, and much more. It will demonstrate why physical activity is vital for health and wellness and how physical inactivity is directly related to 90% of all chronic illness. Do you want concrete steps that allow you to move towards a healthier, happier, and more active lifestyle? Then this workshop will be for you! Some other topics that will be presented include: insulin resistance reversal; slow aging process; an increase in life expectancy, learning, focus, energy & mood; activities to avoid/minimize, the cause of osteoarthritis, exercise, and cancer prevention. Paint Night

Whether you have just dabbled with paints or you consider yourself to be an artist, this is the perfect opportunity to come out and enjoy some time with friends. Be ready for a fun and memorable night in a relaxed environment with some refreshments and snacks. Within just a couple of hours and step-by-step instruction, you will paint and take home your own masterpiece! All supplies, refreshments, and snacks are included in the fee. (TA)

Candy Houses

Get in the holiday spirit with a fun family afternoon activity. Create your own candy house from a variety of goodies and treats. We will provide all the trimmings to make your house one of a kind! Fee includes supplies to create one candy house per registered individual or parent/child pair. Registered participants may drop-in at Rivers Edge Recreation Center any time during their scheduled session. Pre-registration is required and walk-ins will not be accepted to ensure quality programming. (TA)

Calling all crafters, come craft with us! Bring your planners, crafts, and scrapbooks for a craft get-together. Share ideas and enjoy a great evening with fellow crafters. Bring your own supplies.
