Northlands Association for Special Recreation (NASR) is a cooperative partnership between the Belvidere, Freeport, and Rockford Park Districts (referred to as a member district). NASR Programs are open to any individual with a disability-related special need such as physical, mental, and developmental disabilities, and persons with mental illness, behavior disorders, visual or hearing impairments. Member district residents are invited to participate in specialty/therapeutic (TR) programs offered through any member district at the resident rate. For participation in inclusion services at a member district other than your own, you must pay the non-resident rate for that specific program.

Park District Board Thanks John Ackman
The Belvidere Park District Board recognizes John Ackman who has dedicated 8 years to the Belvidere Park District and Board. John was honored and thanked for all years of service to the board with a unique going away cake. Thank you for service and dedication to the Belvidere Park District.
Park District Board Swears in New Member
Debbie Kent of the Belvidere Park District swears into the Board Mary Marquardt, Jean Twyning and Paul McCaffrey. Mr. McCaffrey replaces John Ackman who as dedicated 8 years to the Belvidere Park District and Board.
Thursday 3/9 and Friday 3/10 we will be burning the natural areas at Glenn Green and Red Horse (weather permitting). Signs will be placed up in these areas.
