Tree Removal In Park
September 26, 2018
Many of you that frequent the Belvidere Park may have noticed white X’s on trees. The trees identified with white X’s have had risk assessments performed and have been slated for removal.
The document below provides the detail of the assessment and why the trees must be removed.
The trees in our parks are of great value to us, however it is the position of the District to oversee the safety and well-being of our patrons. When a tree is identified as having a high risk assessment in the park that the tree will be removed.
Feel free to direct any question to the District with regard to tree removal in the parks.
