Taking place at the Riverside Ice Arena, the only regulation-sized outdoor Ice Rink in the area, these lessons help provide kids with a well-rounded experience that combines physical exercise, personal development, social interaction, and pure enjoyment. They are a great way to encourage physical activity and fitness in children in the wintertime and help improve cardiovascular endurance, strength, balance, and coordination. This class is designed to help children 6 and younger to develop the ABC’s movement: Agility, Balance, Coordination. Off-ice orientation prior to the first skating class. beginner Skate lessons

These lessons are for the older child who wants to learn how to skate. Skill focus will be on march and glide, backward wiggles, forward one foot glide and forward & backward edge swizzles. Skates provided (CV). Location: Riverside Ice Arena • Min/Max: 4/12
