William Grady Pool Closings
The pool will be closed for public swimming if the air temperature is below 68° or at the manager’s discretion based on inclement weather, low attendance (20 or less swimmers by 2:00 pm), or unusual circumstances. The pool may also be closed or have special hours on a given day due to other scheduled events or programming. If the pool closes due to inclement weather, guests that have paid the daily fee within 45 minutes of closing will receive a 1-day guest pass for the 2020 season per person paid with receipt. Download Rainout Line App for the most up-to-date schedule!
Swim breaks will be taken each hour to allow for a 10-minute adult swim for those 18 years and older. This time is for children to rest, reapply sunblock, use the restroom, eat a snack, and hydrate. When the temperature or heat index is 90° or above, the pool supervisor will implement a 15 minute break, with the first 10 minutes being adult swim and the remaining 5 minutes will be an all-out lifeguard break to hydrate and cool-off our lifeguards. Thank you for your patience.
